I spent my birthday fast asleep. In a coma to be exact.”

When Savannah wakes up after two months in the hospital, she sees a whole lot more than expected, things that could put those close to her at risk.

The five Delcarta sisters have never believed in the paranormal, not like their woo-woo mother. Instead they believe in the power of sisterhood, of romance, and rebuilding their lives after their father’s mysterious disappearance nine years earlier. Starting anew in the small town of Iris Harbor, they see potential in all.

But Savannah’s awakening after having surgery on a life-threatening aneurysm brings a unique ability to the Delcarta sisters–together, each can predict the future with one of the five senses. And Savannah has the gift of sight.

A serial arsonist has been terrorizing the tight-knit community, and the Delcarta sisters have their suspicions on who could be to blame, including a boy who starts as an adversary to Savannah and then very quickly becomes her whole world. Investigating these crimes, trying to stop them before the next flame is sparked will call upon Savannah to use her newfound abilities with the help of her sisters, and will put each of their lives in danger.

This stunning new paranormal series blends the sweetest of romances with breathless suspense, and introduces five young women who share a haunted past, an extraordinary gift, and an uncertain future.
Stunningly different!

Sight is unlike anything I've ever read before. It's a perfect blend of excitement, danger, love and hidden wickedness.

After Savannah's surgery she knows things aren't the same....and not in the typical "I just cheated death" way.....something has changed within her. I loved that the author was able to create such fantastic story lines leading up to the reveal of Savannah's true potential if there's one things I can appreciate in a book it's how all the side plots can tie into each other at the end of a good book.

Besides fantastic plots, the author blended together 5 individual sisters to create 1 powerful "being". The bond between these girls was remarkably real, their love for each other & their ability to believe in one another had me in tears at certain points. I loved how each sister had a very similar, yet completely different ability. Makes no sense right?? Once you've read the book it will! Each balanced the other out, which had me thinking that taking one of them out of the equation would reek havoc on the rest of the sister. (future plot???)

With all this being said, I can't wait to continue my journey with the Delcarta sisters. I feel as though Juliet has much in store for them!

5/5

10 Random Things about Juliet Madison:

1. I don’t write at a desk. I write either sitting in my reclining armchair with a cushion under my laptop, laying down on the couch, in bed, or at a café!

2. My hair is naturally wavy/curly (sometimes with ringlets!) but I straighten it most of the time.Sometimes I like it curly but it has a mind of its own and sometimes it makes me feel like a cavewoman! God bless GHD.

3. I accidentally became an author. I was working as a naturopath and running my own business, and at one point even had plans to go to medical school. But life had plans of its own, and when I took some time off and thought I’d try writing a novel ‘just for fun’…boom! Oops. Author.

4. Right now I’m writing this on the couch at the end of the day and it’s getting dark and I couldn’t be bothered getting up to turn the lights on! Fascinating, I know. It’s like that with writing sometimes, you get in the zone and don’t want to have to go do something and then try to get back in the zone. Besides, the couch is comfy.

5. I have nail polish on my toes ALL THE TIME.Even in winter. Just because.

6. I never planned on writing young adult novels. The majority of my books are written for adults, and most are fun romantic comedies. But when I got the idea for The Delta Girls, I knew it needed to be a teen story, and once I started writing it, I loved it. Now I have even more YA ideas.

7. I dance in the kitchen. What else is one supposed to do in between chopping, stirring, and cleaning? I have a dance background so I can’t help it, sometimes I just break out into random dance or stretching. No music required. My cat thinks I’m weird.

8. I wrote & illustrated some children’s stories for my son when he was little. There was a superhero cat in one of them. Maybe one day I’ll get them published (if I can find them). I even came up with a theme song for the TV adaptation. It involved rapping. Don’t expect me to sing it. EVER.

9. I get my best ideas when I’m in the middle of something else. Shower? Plot twistCooking dinner?New character! Falling asleep? Best Story Idea Ever That Must Be Written Immediately! …At desk? I gotnothin’.

10. Emails take me ages to write. I always re-read and edit them to make sure there are no spelling mistakes, typos, or embarrassing autocorrects. And to make sure they are written in the best, wittiest, and most concise way possible. You’d think I was a writer. As for Facebook messages with my friends, I’m not that pedantic, and autocorrect provides many laugh-out-loud moments to make up for the bad grandma. I mean grammar.
