Yumminess In Wolves Clothing!!

I love shifter books, there's something raw, and gritty about them that make me all kinds of happy! It's the primal feelings that only an animal can seem to have. They're nothing like a other paranormal creatures, shifters are basically Kicker's of Ass & Taker's of Names!

Sucked in, from page UNO!! Mysterious little towns, a female lead with her head on right (seriously how often do you come across that??), and of course more mystery! I think that it was not only Paige and her fantastic personailty, but Riley was able to pull me into the book...just a little...

With all jokes aside, Riley was a mountain of hotness, topped with a fantastic accent! The passion between these two was unreal. It never seemed forced, or like the author was trying to hard to sell it. With all the issues that seemed to arise with this couple, there were always times when I knew things would work out the way they did.
One of the things that really drew me into this book was how illustrative the author was able to get with details. I felt like this small hole in the wall town was right before my eyes, sometimes it's hard to create that without running on, and on, and on....but April was able to cast this magically spell in my mind and made this story come to life.

{Cover Whore: Cover Reveal} Captivate Me - By S.J. Pierce

Happy Monday!
How about we start it a good way.....with a beautiful cover reveal!!
S.J. Pierce is releasing her latest novel, Captivate Me, and we all know that a great book starts with a breath taking cover!

Stunning!!! I L-O-V-E it SO much, her eyes are gorgeous right?!
Here's more about the book & author:

Captivate Me -By S.J. Pierce
Publication date: April 1st 2014
Genres: Paranormal Romance, Young Adult

“My mom had always told me – when you meet “the one”, you’ll know; they’ll captivate your heart the moment you lay eyes on them. I had always wondered, though, if my mom’s words of wisdom were finite – if they applied to everyone. Maybe those who had found their one great love were the lucky few, and maybe the rest of us would have to settle for less than earth-shattering.”

Seventeen-year-old Kat Walsh is a Gifted – a human with paranormal abilities. With her mom a former Angel and her dad a dream prophet, it’s always been in her genetic make-up to be extraordinary. Unfortunately for her, the world can’t handle the strange or unusual. So when she slips up and uses her powers at her high school in Ireland, the entire student body treats her like a freak – even the ones she thought were her closest friends.

Broken, but hopeful for a fresh start, she allows her parents to enroll her in a boarding school buried deep within the forests of a small Colorado town. At Midland Pines, School for the Gifted, she feels as though she can finally be herself; she makes new friends and even has the attention of the most popular guy in school – Levi. Everything feels normal again… or does it?

Not long after her arrival, weird dreams of an alluring boy whom she’s never met surface during the night, and the eerie, shadowy trees encircling their school seem to call to her. As these disturbing, yet enticing developments intensify, other bizarre occurrences happen – students and staff turn up missing, and mystery visitors leave gifts while she sleeps. With all of these other things vying for her attention, a desperate Levi has to fight even harder to keep her interest. But with the dreams of the attractive boy slowly captivating her heart, Kat has to make a choice – will she settle for ‘great’ Levi, or will she search for her elusive dream visitor, possibly stumbling across ‘amazing?’

From the author of the Alyx Rayer Chronicles, comes a refreshingly different Young Adult series with plenty of love, suspense, and a new take on the Paranormal.

(Recommended for readers 16 and up due to mature content.)

Susan James Pierce has a degree in Marketing Management, works for a Fortune 500 company in Atlanta, Georgia, and devotes her precious, spare time to writing Fantasy and Sci-fi novels.

Even though her full-time career has nothing to do with books at all, she has always enjoyed complex storytelling with fascinating characters, and has had a penchant for the written word since grade school. As a matter of fact, her first publishing credit was a poem she wrote at the age of twelve. Why her love for writing never translated into a career, she can only attribute to 'life happens', but her wish is that she can redirect her career path into something that satisfies her creative inner-self.

{Blog Tour: Review + Giveaway} Indigo Incite - By Jacinda Buchmann

Author: Jacinda Buchmann
Release Date: 9/7/2013
Purchase Info: Amazon ~ B&N
There are no secrets.

Sixteen-year-old Tyler believed that his extra-sensory powers were a secret, but when his twin brother, Toby, is kidnapped by a covert government agency, he realizes that he has no secrets, and he has nowhere to hide.

He’s not alone.

Now, in order to save himself and rescue his brother, Tyler must call upon the help of four strangers. Unknown to each other, Eddie, Liliana, Grace, and Sarah share a common bond. They are Indigo Children. With extra-sensory powers of their own, they must unite with Tyler in order to maintain their freedom.

Unexpected romance.

They’re on the run. They’re on a mission. Romance is a distraction that Tyler can’t afford. But sometimes, the heart has a mind of its own.

Time is running out.

Will they find Toby before the agency finds them first? Find out in Indigo Incite, Book One of the Indigo Trilogy.

Secrets around EVERY corner!

The suspense and unexpected turns of, Indigo Incite, was probably the one thing that kept me truly engaged with this book.

I loved how the author created such different characters, but they all had that common thread. They were "Special", unlike anyone around them. Though Tyler & Toby have abilities that are similar, they each cope with it and take it to completely different places. At one point in this book I was really unsure of how Tyler was going to handle all the challenges that were being thrown his way, but he really proved a lot of people wrong by over coming everything he did. (Sometimes stepping up and seeing the bigger picture is harder then it seems)

In reviews I never really like to touch on anything negative, but I want to point one very small thing out, then highlight it with a positive.

It's just a type of writing style I ran into throughout the book that made me halt for a moment. Yes, this is just a personal weird quirk that pops out at me, but I feel like if I didn't explain why it popped out, I wouldn't be able to truly get the positive of this book across like I wanted. It is just a personal opinion that I have..... but now for the positive! If this author hadn't created such an intriguing story line, twisted side-plots & in depth characters I wouldn't have tried to get past these little things. But she did, and I am very thankful for that!

All in all, Indigo Incite was a very interesting story that kept me on my toes and fascinated the whole time. It'll be interesting to see where this trilogy ends up going and how all the characters progress as the end becomes closer!

{Blog Tour: Review + Giveaway} To Catch Her Death - By Boone Brux

Author: Boone Brox
Release Date: 10/17/2013 1
Purchase Info: Amazon ~ B&N
What do you get when you cross a hockey mom with the grim reaper?

Me, Lisa Carron. If being a depressed, frumpy, widowed mother of three wasn't bad enough, I just found out I'm a grim reaper. I know what you're thinking. Wow, that's kind of sexy and full of awesomeness. Hardly. Oh, and my clients? Stupid people. Like I don't get enough of that from the living.

Since Alaska is big and angels of death are few, I've been partnered with reaper extraordinaire, Nate Cramer. He's strong, silent, and way too good looking for my recently widowed state. Oh, and he reaps violent criminals, so that should be interesting.

Forget the danger and the hours of self-analysis it will take for me to find my reaper mojo. My biggest problem? Hiding it all from my overly attentive family and nosy neighbors. Now that's going to take a miracle.

 This book is beyond grim!

Jumping into Lisa Carron's life was awesome! Yes she just lost her husband a year ago, but she's the type of character that touches your heart, makes you laugh and who you want to have a drink with!

Now that she's reaping souls, she's having to find a way to change her life style without alarming her children or her mother....who let's just say isn't all that pleasant. Not only is her new job requiring her to go out at all hours, but the physical demands are kicking her butt! It doesn't seem too difficult for her to balance, but the first book didn't dive too deep into her actually reaping souls. It'll be interesting to see what hurdles are thrown into her path in the future.

It did set it up for a great book #2 though, there was a lot of great character building, plot lines laid out and little hints to some plot twists.....oh then there was Hal Lee Lewya! He's a porter to Heaven or Hell, and let's just say he doesn't always play by the rules.....

Boone's writing style was fast passed, intricate and perfectly vulgar! I am thrilled to have been introduced to her as an author, and I can NOT wait to see where this series goes!

Giveaway Time!!

One lucky winner will receive a $10 iTunes gift card, tote bag, a signed swag pack, and a To Catch Her Death mouse pad.
