Giveaway: The Gathering - By Kelley Armstrong

The Gathering (Darkness Rising Book #1)

Maya lives in a small medical-research town on Vancouver Island. How small? You can’t find it on the map. It has less than two-hundred people, and her school has only sixty-eight students–for every grade from kindergarten to twelve.

Now, strange things are happening in this claustrophobic town, and Maya’s determined to get to the bottom of them. First, the captain of the swim team drowns mysteriously in the middle of a calm lake. A year later, mountain lions start appearing around Maya’s home, and they won’t go away. Her best friend, Daniel, starts experiencing “bad vibes” about certain people and things. It does’t help that the new bad boy in town, Rafe, has a dangerous secret…and he’s interested in one special part of Maya’s anatomy: Her paw-print birthmark.

So you all voted and The Gathering by Kelley Armstrong is what you wanted me to give away!

Here are the simple things that need to be done to enter:
  • Leave a comment telling me which Kelley Armstrong book is your favorite

My favourites are the Nadia Stafford series (Exit Strategy and Made To Be Broken) and I guess of those I like Made To Be Broken better, only because there's more Nadia/Jack stuff. This series is really good because the characters are great and distinctive, there's lots of interesting storyline and I love reading them.
I've read most of her other books, though I'm still trying to finish the Women of the Otherworld series (my fave of that is Hope's book; Personal Demon) and The Gathering looks really good.

My favorite Kelley Armstrong book to date is probably The Reckoning - Darkest Powers #2. It was a fantastic second book in the trilogy and was a way more satisfying read than the last book. I couldn't really figure out the end - just seemed to be left off hanging.

I've read amazing reviews for this one so really hope to win it! Thanks for the great giveaway and for making it international!

Personal Demon is my fave and I would love it if they could be developed into another novel and not just side stories which are so frustrating (can't wait for Maya and Rafe 2)

One of my favs is Dime store magic because of Lucas and Paige and the whole witch vs sorcerer dynamic. Plus the nerdy love there isnt at all unpleasant :) But honestly, I just have to grab any one of her books of my shelf and Im in a happy place, haha. I was also in a happy place when I saw it sent to Australia! :D

I like The Darkest Power Series. To be honest it is the only thing of hers I have read to date. My son made me read it. He said "Mom,you will like it. I know you will. Just read it." So,I did. Anything to please my children. I really liked it! He was right. Im looking forward to diving into her other writings.....Jennelle

I LOVED Bitten.. I was looking thru a used book store for something good and when I picked the book up and read the back I was already hooked. Once I read it i became addicted and collected as many of the Otherworld series as I could in hardcover which is NOT easy lol
