Figured it's been a while since you've seen this type of quality post from me......and of course when I say quality that simply means the shallow, judging by the cover, awesomeness that you expect from a person such as my self.

Here's what has caught my eye lately:

Usually it takes something floral or brightly colored to grab me, but this cover is GORG! I want to hold a copy in my hands, it would be AWESOME if it was embossed in areas too...*wipes drool*

 Magical!

 Having the Sight is not common, when you're actually spotted having it, it's deadly. After Joy spots him it changes her life....and I'm not talking he sweeps her off her feet, he straight stabs her in the eye. Way to make an impression right?!
Confused, hurt and frankly pissed off, Joy is now being bombarded by creatures that range from mythical & strange, to down right ugly. Oddly they're all coming to her with cryptic messages for the same person....Ink....and that's when things get strange. Joy has to deal with being suddenly swept up into the world that she never knew was so close to her, and all the while having to figure things out with her Ink....

 I felt as though Joy was a very well balanced character, for someone who has so much additional drama going on outside of her current situation, she is able to take on the Twixt fairly well. Then there's Ink, I swoon!! You'd think the black eyes would be a turn off...um, no...his innocence to the human race is what makes him beyond appealing. These two teach each other that it's ok to let someone in, they help the other understand what it's like to feel love, and they don't give up no matter what!

 Indelible was amazingly refreshing and so beautifully written that it took my breath away. By the time I got to the end of this book I felt almost giddy, not gonna lie there's a part that made me shed a few tears, but I honestly wish I could read books like this every day. It makes me remember why I started reviewing in the first place.

 Finally!!!! 

I waited wayyyyyy too long to get my Kaidan fix!
 Jumping into book #2 I felt instantly swallowed up by this story, but in a good way. You know how sometimes the second book in a trilogy can seem like it's just a "filler" book? Sweet Peril blew away any preconceived notions that I might have had about mid-book syndrome. 

From the get go Anna is being watched and judged at every turn by whisperers, basically ghost like tattle tales for the Dukes, and she's having to put on her best party girl face to show she's doing her fair share of work. Regardless of what she does her mind always comes back to Kai, she needs closure or acceptance from him and it seems like the story won't go anywhere until that happens. SURPRISE!! The story does move forward, how I'm not telling you, but I really admire how the author was able to give Anna the amazing path to walk down in order to find answers from Kai. Through out the entire book I was on the edge of my seat; quick get aways, missions, and near run ins with the Dukes, I could feel my adrenaline running high the whole time!

I absolutely LOVE some of the new characters that were introduced into this book! You meet a few of the Duke's children, and I especially liked Flynn, he's a spitfire. Then there's Z, she's someone that I want to make chicken noodle soup for and take care of forever, something about her makes my heart melt.

Overall this book was great, it's leading up at an EPIC ending, I can feel it in my bones, and when it comes I can't wait to tear into!
